We have had a lot of questions lately about what is this asian basketball stuff. I'm like what do you mean? They ask are these players good? Are they like AND 1 basketball?  Can they dunk? How come we don't see more asian players in college or in the pros? Can they compete with blacks and whites?

Hmmmm... I just told them that we do have real very talented players that play in these tournaments. Some of the good teams will wax some of the highschool or college teams. Professional teams of course not. We don't have enough size. But the skill level of some asian players are very high and if they were taller maybe the would be looked at by more highschools or colleges. In life there is always a begining. We are in the early stages of the progression of asian and asian american basketball players. So, just like blacks had to have pioneers, we will also have ours. Who will they be? Who knows! Maybe they exist now, or maybe they aren't even born yet. But the passion and hunger is there. So to those who keep playing in asian tournaments and tryout for highschool, college, or even pro teams thank you. Keep trying, keep the love for the game. People will always have something negative to say, but thats part of life. Nothing is ever easy. No, most of us are not as good as kobe, lebron, or even steve kerr. But I know that if yah keep workin hard, one day we will get there. So that was my answer to those questions. Lets play some ball!
