If you missed last weekend's All-Star Weekend activities, too bad. If you are an asian basketball player, you would have loved all the events. A dream come true event at the All-Star game at Philips Arena, Asian Heritage Night at the Rockets & Hawks Game, Nightlife in Atlanta, and the All-Star Weekend Tournament. Woooh...... lots of events, but lots of fun. Gettin to know new players and people and reacquainting old ones. Thanks to all the All-Stars who participated, and all those who came to watch any of the events. Thanks to all the sponsors, fans, and families that showed some love. Special thanks to Larry Chow and the Maximum Output family for their continued support. You see asian people we can do great things! And it will be even better in the future! Congratulations to the East All-Stars Team for winning the All-Star game, and Team Houston for taking the All-Star tournament. Home team Scrappy Duus finished in second place. It was a great tournament with most of the games coming to the last seconds. We will have complete weekend and tournament wrapups soon, with photos and video, and stats. Thanks again everyone!

Mr. Xiro has proven to be the face of asian basketball. The article and video piece of him in the St. Paul local televison news, shows that we all can make it. Xiro is only maybe 5'7, but like most asians that usually is about average height. But like most asians he plays with a lot of heart. Xiro was last years Asianballers.net Player of the year, voted on by the people. He is exciting to watch and has a humble demeanor. He has represented asian people and asian basketball with class. Hopefully in the future we will see more talent get recognition. If you haven't watched the news clip of Xiro here is the web link address.
