Fosho to going to Cali?

With the foshopro.com founders changing addresses from Minnesota to Cali, what will this mean for asian basketball in Minnesota. Things will change for sure. Will the July 4th tourney still exists around the Hmong Sports Festival? And what about the Minnesota leagues? We will find out what the state of Minnesota asian basketball will be with the driving force no longer present. But the west coast has definetly gotten stronger if Fosho plans to do their thang in Cali. With one of the top asian basketball coordinators in such a strong asian market, this will be exciting to see what they plan to do! But good luck Minnesota, hopefully someone will step up and keep asian basketball moving up there!

March 2nd LA Showcase Tournament Results

Champions - Stockton Ballers
2nd Place - Pac Rim

Pac Rim had a stacked squad and a lead at halftime over the Stockton Ballers, but the young Hernandez brothers said "not today", and took the LA Showcase title from Pac Rim. Goes to show you that it takes more than just putting good players together. It takes teamwork, heart, and effort to win a tournament. That was proven in Atlanta last weekend also. With John Lane and Kevin Ing joining Maximum Output, making them maybe the most talented team in the tournament, but still lost to the better "team", the Teddy Bears. Congrats to the Stockton Ballers!

Georgia Tech Tournament Results

Champions - Teddy Bears

Runners Up - Maximum Output

Final Four Teams

Atl Rat Pack
     vs
Maximum Output

Supreme Court
    vs
Teddy Bears

Teddy Bears have made their triumphant return as Kings of the South! They outplayed the rest of the 20 teams on Saturday to take two tournaments in a row. With some new additions inside and outside, the legendary Teddy Bears seem to be on track to dominate the South for another dynasty in the South. Team captain Timmy Dam deserves a lot of the credit for putting together a solid team in every sense of the word. Their players are unselfish and love to play with each other. We will see later this year if they can continue their winning ways against the nations best competition.

But the newly formed team of Maximum Output has come up short again. Will Bo ever win a championship? For the last five years his old team Scrappy Duus were always coming up short, and now with him at Maximum Output they come up short in Chicago, Charlotte, and recently the Atlanta tournament. Is it him? Is it his players? Chemistry? Just not good enough? Who knows? Maybe he should just go play with the Teddy Bears!
